Browser Permission Fixes
Follow the exact steps for your browser to grant audio and video hardware access.
- Click the Tune/Padlock icon on the left side of the address bar.
- Ensure Camera and Microphone toggles are set to 'Allow'.
- If marked as 'Blocked', click 'Reset permissions' or toggle the switches to 'Allow'.
- Reload the tab to apply new media permissions.
Mic & Audio Tips
If peers cannot hear you despite an active mic status, check that your physical headset mute switch is turned off.
Tip: Use headphones to eliminate echo loops in active study sessions.
Camera Black Screen?
Another application (Zoom, Teams, or OBS) may have exclusive control of your webcam. Close competing apps and reload the room.
Still Having Trouble Connecting?
If permissions continue to fail, clear your browser site data for this domain or test the room in an Incognito / Private browsing window without third-party extensions.
